🎯 Role Overview: Moderator
As a Moderator, you’ll be part of the frontline team ensuring content quality and community standards across Slickdeals. You’ll handle reports, resolve disputes, and work with multiple internal teams—all while representing the voice and integrity of the community.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Review and act on user reports of content violations
- Monitor the forums to catch rule-breaking content proactively
- Document and take action on user infractions (warnings, bans, etc.)
- De-escalate conflicts and arbitrate community disputes
- Respond to questions from users and assist with account-related issues
- Collaborate with internal teams (Deal Editors, QA, BD, Product)
- Identify and track spamming or shilling patterns
- Stay updated with current rules, policies, and guidelines
- Represent Slickdeals as a community ambassador

Must-Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience in handling disputes and stressful situations
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation abilities
Nice-to-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Familiarity with Google Docs/Sheets
- Understanding of IP, VPN, and internet technologies
- Experience moderating forums or community platforms
- Deep knowledge of Slickdeals culture and community
