In this role, you’ll handle inbound calls related to child support—resolving inquiries, guiding callers through self-service, and ensuring they get the answers they need with professionalism and empathy. 💼 Key Responsibilities

As a Call Center Agent, you will:

  • Handle inbound calls and provide accurate, helpful information about child support services
  • Answer questions on payment histories, account details, and identity verification
  • Use multiple systems to document, research, and resolve customer issues
  • Guide callers who are unable to navigate the automated system
  • Manage escalated inquiries with professionalism and problem-solving skills
  • Help callers understand the services and resources available to them

✅ Who This Role is For

You’re a strong candidate if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Bring 2+ years of customer service or call center experience
  • Type at least 30 words per minute and have strong documentation skills
  • Are comfortable reading and interpreting records or account data
  • Have your own PC/laptop (Windows only, Mac not supported)
  • Can provide two screens/monitors and have internet speed of 400 Mbps or higher
  • Can pass a background check and drug screening
  • Are not located in AK, CA, HI, MA, MT, WA, IL, IA, MN, NH, NY, ND, SD, Puerto Rico, or certain metro areas (see location note below)

Typing assessment required after applying.


⏰ Schedule & Training

  • 📅 Full-Time, 40 hours/week
  • 🕒 Training: 7 weeks, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST
  • Post-training: Monday–Thursday, starting between 8 AM–7 PM EST
  • 🚫 No weekends

💰 Pay & Benefits

💵 Pay Rate:

  • $16.50/hour (Non-Bilingual)
  • $17.50/hour (Bilingual – Spanish & English)
  • 💰 $0.50 increase after training completion
